ALERT: On 5/12/10, we
were notified that ads were being posted on sites like Craig's
List advertising for positions available for 'Customer Service
Advisors', etc. In replying to these blind ads, the
individual is receiving an email back from someone posing as a
'Spies in Disguise' employee explaining how their first
assignment is a 'Western Union' job. THIS IS A
SCAM that Spies in Disguise is in no way associated with.
If you have responded to this ad or provided information to this
individual, please contact your State Attorney General.
If you have received the proposed money
order - DO NOT cash the check OR send the
requested money via Western Union as requested for this.
This scam has been previously done targeting other reputable
mystery shopping companies in the past. We have not given
permission or are in anyway associated with the criminals that
