I went to
submit my report, and I lost all of it, now what?
Save all of your narratives in a program such as 'Word', that
way you can take your time writing them. Just copy and paste
the narrative into the actual report. That way, if you are
taken off line anytime while filling out your report, you will
still have your narratives saved and easily reentered. There is
no 'Save' feature on the website, so allow enough time to
complete the report once you start.
I'm a new shopper with you. How do I find the shop
instructions?
Go to our website. Enter your Shopper ID number and Password,
once on Shopper Central, scroll down to 'Accept and Confirm Your
Current Shops'. The shop you signed up to do will be in blue,
click on it. There you will find a sample narrative, shop
instructions, and the actual shop report, which you can print
off to review and take notes on. Just remember, this is a
'Mystery Shop', you don't want anyone to see you filling out
this report!
Why is my shop still showing
on my job board?
The shop will show
on your job board until you are paid by our accounting
department. If you have a question, please contact accounting at
payroll@spiesindisguise.com. If you have completed the shop and
received feedback, please do not cancel it on your job board.
Again, it will stay on your job board until you are paid.
How do I
know if I am assigned the shop I requested?
We only send
notices out to the shoppers who are assigned the shops. We have
upwards of 50 applicants per shop. We can not notify everyone
who doesn't get chosen.
How will I
get paid?
We pay by PayPal within 15 business days of your shop.
If you have not signed up yet, click on the PayPal button on our
site and follow the directions to sign up. We use the email
address that you use for Spies for your PayPal payments. You
can also be paid by check, but they are only sent out once a
month, in the middle of the month after the shop was
completed. (Example: If you completed a shop anytime in August,
if by check it would be paid in mid September.) If you have an
alternate email address for PayPal payments or prefer to be paid
by check, send an email to accounting@spiesindisguise.com.
Why did PayPal charge me a fee to receive a payment from
Spies?
Some mystery shopping companies pay using PayPal's Mass
Payments, we do not. Nor do we ever pay by credit card. If you
have a Personal Account with PayPal, there will be no fee.
If you have a Premier or Business Account with PayPal, they will
charge you a fee to receive a payment. For more information, go
to PayPal, scroll to the bottom of the home page and click on 'Fees'.
Can I have more than one
email address on my PayPal account?
Go to PayPal, Click the 'My Account' tab, Click the
'Profile' sub-tab, Click the email link in the 'Account
Information Column', Click 'Add', Enter your new email address,
Click 'Save', PayPal will send you a confirmation email.
